This agreement is intended to establish the terms and conditions under which 4KK materials and resources are to be used. Participants/Users are not to share or disclose any information related to and including manuals and materials with anyone. It is the responsibility of everyone to safeguard and protect the 4KK retreat process as a whole and retreat components individually. Aspects of a retreat are to be protected as if its disclosure would affect the experience of future participants.
The mission of the church is to evangelize and disciple men and women into a relationship with God and into a community of kingdom minded people. The 4KK retreat implements and is informed by many foundational principles that empower the church and its people to fulfill this purpose. This agreement does not preclude individuals from using and applying these principles as God leads them to fulfill His calling on their lives. These principles and beliefs include, but are not limited to: Our Identity in Christ, Jesus as Lord and Savior, Prayer and the authority of God’s Word, sacrifice and service to others, focused time on God’s presence, inviting God to “search our hearts and to grow in our knowledge of self, the power of Story to deepen our understanding God and ourselves, our pursuit of happiness and safety apart from trusting God, the need to transform and renew our minds, the power and healing experienced through and in the practice of confession, and the life altering experience of an abiding relationship with Christ.
RETREATS AND MATERIALS
4KK Retreat materials are to be considered ‘Confidential’. “Confidential information” refers to any data and/or information that is related to 4KK, in any form, including, but not limited to, oral or written. Such confidential information includes, but is not limited to, any information related to the business or industry of 4KK, such as discoveries, processes, techniques, programs, knowledge bases, customer lists, potential customers, business partners, affiliated partners, leads, know-how, or any other services related to 4KK.
The Participants/Users understand that the 4KK retreat experience is one that is purposefully enhanced by a participant’s lack of prior knowledge of the details of the weekend. As such, the Participant agrees they will not copy or share any details of the weekend, whether orally or in writing, including but not limited to, teaching materials, teaching tools, videos, movies, exercises, games, lessons, or any other experiences utilized by 4KK staff during the retreat experience. The Participant/User understands that to do so would lessen the impact the 4KK ministry would have on other men in other churches, as well as in their own church.
The Participant/User understands that confidentiality and non-disclosure of details of the 4KK experience is of the utmost importance and that the materials, teaching/experiences they will encounter during the 4KK weekend, including the schedule of events itself, are copyrighted materials.
The intellectual property of the retreat experience is owned by 4KK. No part should be used or copied by the Participant/User without express written consent.
All Participants/Users will be expected to develop and maintain an attitude of “gatekeeper” or “guardian” of the 4KK experience and materials.
USER RESPONSIBILITIES
- The User will be/have been provided with a username and password. The User will safeguard and not disclose any user ID and password or other authentication/authorization information to anyone.
- If a User believes that the confidentiality of their user ID, password, or other authentication/authorization information has been compromised, they will immediately inform 4KK.
- The Intellectual property is owned by 4KK. The User agrees not to disclose, copy, clone, or modify any confidential information related to 4KK and agrees not to use any such information without obtaining written consent from 4KK.
- “Confidential information” refers to any data and/or information that is related to 4KK, in any form, including, but not limited to, oral or written. Such confidential information includes, but is not limited to, any information related to the business or industry of 4KK, such as discoveries, processes, techniques, manuals, videos, programs, knowledge bases, customer lists, potential customers, business partners, affiliated partners, leads, know-how, or any other services related to 4KK.
- The user must promptly provide 4KK with the end date of active participation, at which date 4KK will revoke any access to materials and resources (digital and physical).
- In the event that the User finds themselves or stumbles upon materials that should not be readily available the User will notify 4KK immediately so that appropriate steps can be taken to safeguard the materials.
- The User shall not send or transmit any information that might be considered offensive or harmful to the 4KK organization.
- The User shall not post or utilize any content on any social media platform that may be deemed inappropriate, have a political agenda, is offensive, or is against the message of 4KK under the banner of 4KK or its trademarks.
- The 4KK/For King and Kingdom logo and its trademarks shall not be used without the written consent of 4KK.
UNACCEPTABLE USES
- Use of the 4KK network or technology resources for any unlawful purpose is prohibited.
- Any use of the 4KK network, systems or technology resources for commercial or political purposes, or for political lobbying, is prohibited.
- Excessive use of the 4KK network for personal business is prohibited.
- Use of the 4KK network for inappropriate texting or messaging is prohibited.
EXCLUSIONS
The Participants obligations under this Agreement do not extend to information that is publicly known at the time of disclosure or subsequently becomes publicly known through no fault of their own.
RETURN OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
The Participant agrees to return all the confidential information to 4KK upon the termination of this Agreement.
OWNERSHIP
This Agreement is not transferable.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of residence.
TIME PERIODS
The non disclosure provisions of this Agreement shall survive the termination of this Agreement and the Participants duty to hold Confidential Information in confidence shall remain in effect until the Confidential Information no longer qualifies as a trade secret or until 4KK sends Participants written notice releasing the Participant from this Agreement, whichever occurs first.
